We regret to inform that due to the Covid-19 situation and restrictions in Luxembourg, including a very limited number of audience that could attend an event, we have decided together with the artists to cancel the November Eve Akustiks concerts on 27 and 28.11.2020.

However, noting a huge interest from the Akustiks funs we propose to reschedule the event to (what we all hope to be) a safer period and without those tough restrictions.

A new dates for Akustiks concerts in Ancien Cinema are 23 and 24.04.2021

In order to smoothly carry the reservation process again, we would like to propose as follows:

- all reservations for the two November concerts are automatically cancelled;

- reservations for the concerts in April 2021 start today, 14.11.2020

- all of you who have made reservations for any of the November 2020 concerts will have (until the end of November 2020) priority when reserving for April 2021;

- because the November concerts were sold out, reservations from any new customers will be put on a waiting list. We will inform you in December about the status of your reservation and if places are available; 

- for the moment, Ancien Cinema keeps the same number of spectators limit (that is only 32), but we hope less restrictions will apply in April and that we will be able to increase the number of audience. We will keep you posted.

We understand that many of you may be disappointed and we sincerely apologise for all invonveniences.  We are happy to offer on 27 and/or 28 November a free glass of cremant to all of you who have reserved a place for the November 2020 concerts. As always, we warmly welcome you to Ancien Cinema to enjoy your drink.

The Band was founded in former years by Daniel and Heng with the aim to play well-known old and modern hits in an „acoustic“ way.

AKUSTIKS has been touring through and around Luxembourg for 15 years.  Since November 2018 the Akustiks are touring around in this constellation: Vocals - Sylvie & Heng, Guitar -  Daniel & Zilff, Drums - Tony, Bass - Benny.

We offer a 2,5 hour concert of interesting live performance. You can either dance or just listen to the sometimes completely newly arranged songs.

The philosophy of the band is since its beginning to play cover-songs under the devise: Simply unplugged from Past to Present, that means top-songs from the 70’ until now, in an acoustic way. Songs who everybody recognizes and may dance and sing together with us. Our programme includes songs by Eric Clapton, Texas, Alice Merton, U2, Sade, Miley Cirus, Cindy Lauper, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, ACDC, Status Quo, Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, The Cranberries, REM, Donna Summer, Prince, Chic, Dua Lipa, Michael Jackson, Queen, The Eagles, Gloria Gaynor, Joe Cocker, etc...

Fun and a great time are guaranteed!
