She, Alicja, is a modest girl from Piotrkow Trybunalski, working in the capital as a waitress and daydreaming of a musical career. He, Robert, is the son of a legendary Polish actor: rich, privileged, with an apartment bought by his dad, unfamiliar with the sound of the morning alarm clock. Robert meets Alicja at a party for his father. He hears the young woman sing, and offers to play music with her. Alicja lacks confidence and faith in her talent. They start to write songs together… Charmingly cast and stylishly shot, this is a catchy black and white “boy meets girl” romance about the pressure of success, taking place in the world of music industry.
