Gagik Parsamian
GAGIK PARSAMIAN (b. July 28, 1957) born in 1957 in Etchmiadzin is an Armenian painter. He received his diploma of painting in 1957 from the School of Fine Arts F. Terlemezyan in Yerevan. Later, he continued his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Yerevan under the direction of Prof. Ara Biekaryan, who profoundly influenced further work of Parsamian. Gagik Parsamian participated in numerous exhibitions. Since 1988 he is a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia and in 2007 he was admitted to the Association of the Polish Artist and Designers. In 1989, he was appointed a curator of the National Gallery of Armenia in Etchmiadzin. Today, he lives and works in Gdańsk (Poland) where he also runs his provate are gallery 'Nairi' at St. Mary's street.
Parsamian's art work is in collections of many national and private galleries.
