On 17 June at 14:00, the Ancien Cinéma in Vianden will host a conference (in English) devoted to Polish comics, "The Extraordinary Story of a Fascinating Art". The lecturer, Szymon Holcman, is co-owner of the publishing house Kultura Gniewu, which publishes comics by the best contemporary world artists. He will introduce us to the most fascinating artists and series, transmedia productions and the greatest successes of Polish comics.  After the conference, we invite you to the screening of the documentary film (in English) "Komiks. Superhero of the People's Republic of Poland " about the most famous comic creator of the People's Republic of Poland, "Papcio Chmiel".

And that's not all, because this meeting will also be accompanied by an exhibition of Ukrainian comics.
