Rebecca Cachia, was born in Malta on April 29th 1983. Currently works and lives in Luxembourg. Her passion for photography led her to create and present this exhibition. Her work is dedicated to trigger interest, discovery or even rediscovery of her homeland. Cachia invites the public to the discovery of a gem in the Mediterranean through the exhibition “The Island”, which is made up of a series of photographs, taken around the streets of Malta, depicting the traditions, vibrant colours and laidback life of the Mediterranean.
