sun’s sons - that’s the up-and-coming band from Frankfurt which, within the last two years, has made a name for itself both online and with their consistently growing live shows, threading the needle between danceable indie pop and intimate ballads. The songs of the five young musicians are exuberant and pensive, political and personal, meditative and full of “pathos” (FAZ), often all at once.

In November 2023, their first two EPs are now followed by sun’s sons’ Debut-Album „An Odyssey” which, on the one hand, marks a new beginning (everything from the production to its general ambition is bigger, fuller, braver) and, on the other hand, emphasizes the band’s characteristics and strengths: With their constant swaying between hope and hopelessness, they speak for a generation of young people who get the rug pulled out from under them on a daily basis and who have learned to hold on to each other0.

The band consists of Lasse Kuhl (Lead-Vocals, Guitar), Sorin Della Monica (Keys, E-Guitar, Backings), Marius Wunderlich (E-Guitar, Backings), Kyle Kahraman (E-Bass) und Felix Lothwesen (Schlagzeug).

Stage experiences: Support experience with Mayberg and Jeremias, touring experience with Cardinal Black and Ferris & Sylvester. Experiences on club stages as Batschkapp (Frankfurt), Nochtwache (Hamburg) or Luxor (Cologne) as well as festivals like Trebur Open Air (Trebur), KROA-Festival (Kronberg) or Jahrhunderthalle Sommerwiese (Frankfurt) and at protests such as climate strikes (Fridays For Future) or Cristopher Street Day.
