IVAN BOGDANOV (1973)

Ivan Bogdanov is well know animation film director with multi-awarded films on international film festivals. Since 8 years he started taking photographs and out of a hobby he developed a career, which now is gaining a big popularity in Bulgaria. He had 2 very successful solo exhibitions in Sofia, Bulgaria and participated in several national and international photographic events. He was chosen from The Guardian to represent Bulgaria through 5 photographs, part of their anti-Brexit initiative “This is my Europe”, where photographers from 9 EU countries were invited to participate. As he often quotes his work “making the invisible - visible”, his photographs have gained popularity and recognition with the poetic expression of sealed moments of our familiar everyday life. Currently he is graduating MA of Photography from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia.
